Strumming Technique

Last blog I have talk about basic guitar lessons and chord progressions, if you have not look into it please go to learn to play guitar article I post recently.

Now back to chord progression, I –> V –> VI –> IV, if giving G key the chord progression would be G —> D –> Em –> C.

Now try to hold the string no.1 and no.2 on Fred 3 with yoru forth and fifth fingers and play the chord progression where follow G,D,Em,C.

Do you hear it is sound differently?…..Or I should say sound better compared to conventional chord pressing?

Do you believe that you can learn to play guitar in 3 months? Yes, you can learn the basic guitar playing actually, I mean “basic”.

We need to start with something easy to remember and sound nice when learning guitar. Here is my learning suggestion for you

1) pick up the most common chord progression we have in current pop songs. I would recommend I –> V –> VI –> IV

2) Choose G key as it is one of the easiest chord progression to learn with, please refer the guitar chord book I have uploaded in my blog

3) start with chord number 1 with 4 beat struming then the next then the next.

4) repeat the chord progression and have this training everyday.

5) I’m sure you could get it started and learn it by 1 week.
